It is part of nature as humans that we like being led.
We experience that in politics, in our churches and in the social groups that we are part of.
MLM is no different.
We wish for sponsors to lead us, to teach us and show us the light all through our MLM tunnel and recognize the value of them when they do it for us.
It is a fact too that several of us have good quality sponsors which have the above qualities while some unlucky others, don’t.
And that hurts.
For that reason, you should strive for becoming the finest sponsor you never had – if you are in that area.
Do not wait until you have “made” it financially. Just think about it: How can you become financially free if you do not take upon yourself this leadership role first?
Being a mentor does not mean to be on stage and get those applauses on every meeting your MLM company holds.
My Definition of a MLM Leader
To me, leadership means to coach, direct, assist and teach again and again.
And you can call that process: Standard Recruiting System.
It has been said before, but only to clarify:
Standard Recruiting System is that practice which works EVERY time, everywhere with each person. In other words, it produces EXPECTED results time and again.
There is a MLM philosophy behind all this.
And that is the philosophy of wanting more from life and knowing that helping individuals and making a difference is what’s it’s really all about in network marketing as well as any other human activity.
Now, some outsiders do not consider MLMers, humans – “You guys are strange individuals offering odd financial freedom solutions to ordinary people that will never get it, that doesn’t work” – you know, that sort of nice feelings.
Well, great news for every one of you: MLMers are humans, we help out others and we get compensated for that, just like doctors, nurses, counselors and any other professionals.
This attitude change is all you want in order to help your team expand and duplicate itself like never before.
How do you become a leader?
1. Study the MLM industry business. Learn what is happening.
2. Study your company. That includes products, services, compensation plan, succesful ways of recruiting, information about the company.
3. Utilize the Standard Recruiting System taught by your upline, apply it to yourself and your own downline.
Go over one, two and three over and over.
That is the price of leadership.
Constant learning, constant awareness, constant willingness to change for the better.
